Lemon Peel Removes Pain Of Joints

Lemons are definitely among the healthiest fruits in the world – they provide the body with a variety of important nutrients including a lot of vitamin C, as well as vitamins A, B1, B6, K, folic acid, pectin, calcium, potassium, phosphorus and bioflavonoids. This makes them an ideal natural remedy against a variety of health problems including joint pain and diabetes.

Lemon peel is said to be even more beneficial than the fruit itself, as it contains a high concentration of nutrients. The peel offers numerous health benefits, but it is mostly used as a remedy against joint pain.

To treat joint pain, you can grate the rind and put it on your skin, then put a bandage over it and leave it to work for a couple of hours. Alternatively, you can remove the peel from 2 lemons, put them in a glass jar, top the jar with olive oil, then leave the remedy in a dark and cold place for 2 weeks. Afterwards, you can use the oil – just dip a gauze in it and put it on the affected area, wrap with a bandage, leave the remedy to work for a couple of hours and rinse with lukewarm water in the end.
